THE POSITION

**Mission**

As a Product Line Lead (Director) for Commercial Data and Insights, you will be accountable for complementary products within the Product Line and promote a strong focus on IT Product Management including networked, agile ways of working and role model business partnering closely collaborating with senior stakeholders, Domain Leads and Product Managers to shape the digital strategy, roadmaps and portfolios and co-create solutions to maximize the value delivered for your Product Line area.

**What you'll be working on**

You’ll be working within the Integrated Commercial Domain. All Commercial Domains provide the strategic, stakeholder and business connection for informatics products and services specifically required for the Go to Market and Service of Roche Products.

The Integrated Commercial Domain in particular hosts those product lines that enable commonalities between markets in the commercial space or that ensures success for global stakeholders (or that serves across all domains). While Market Domains are striving to enable differentiation and speed in the market, the Integrated Domain is supporting scalability and speed efficiencies across the markets and in the global setting.

Commercial Data & Insights Product Line enables foundational data management and advanced analytics needs for all the product lines in Commercial domains. It accelerates decision-making processes by delivering technical and data products and capabilities.

As a Commercial Data & Insights Product Line Lead (Director), you will be accountable for the product line strategy and day-to-day operations. You will deeply connect and partner with enterprise, market Informatics and business leaders, and product owners to deliver best in class technical data/analytics platforms and complementary products/services specific to commercial needs. The Product Line Lead will play a critical role in shaping the digital and data strategy in close partnership with business leaders.

**This role can be based in Kaiseraugst (preferred) or Rotkreuz (Switzerland), Mississauga (Canada), South San Francisco, Pleasanton, Santa Clara (US), Mannheim (Germany), Welwyn (UK), Madrid (Spain) or Warsaw (Poland).**

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND PARTNERING
- Deeply connect and understand the business needs and closely partner with senior stakeholders (and business process management where applicable) to develop the strategic direction and thought leadership of the product line and shape the digital roadmap and portfolio to quickly deliver highest value outcomes for Patients, Society and Roche
- Co-create product line vision and strategy, including contribution to the development and implementation of cross Product Lines strategies, through deep partnership and collaboration with senior product line stakeholders
- Ensure that the product line and products deliver tangible and meaningful value aligned with stakeholder needs and priorities, overarching Domain strategy and Enterprise Architecture and Sustainability principles to enable the Business to leverage full Informatics offering

LEADERSHIP AND INFLUENCE
- Lead, manage and mobilize of IT Product Managers, Informatics partners and partnering squads; create an environment of teamwork and partnering within the area and across the wider organization
- People Leader for IT Product Managers
- Work closely with Domain Leads and Chapters to ensure the workforce strategy supports the future product needs and that products foster agile working
- Ensure security and privacy practices are embedded into product lifecycle in alignment with the global Information Security Management System
- Coordinate, connect and collaborate across informatics to foster a spirit of "One Roche"
- Lead technology and data architecture required to deliver commercial data & insights products and services, and provide technical excellence across domains and product lines

IMPACT AND COMPLEXITY
- Support the Domain Lead in portfolio prioritization; lead strategic planning for the product line and collaborates with other Product Lines and the Domain Lead for the definition of end-to-end service levels, monitoring of KPIs and OKRs
- Accountable for the total cost of the product line, including budgeting and financial management
- Ensure stability, quality and transparency in all aspects of Product Line governance and partner with senior/global leaders to ensure compliance with existing and changing regulations (e.g. Informatics Quality, Information Security, Finance)

INFORMATION SECURITY, PRIVACY AND REGULATORY
- Demonstrate a working knowledge and implications of general and Roche-specific information security, privacy and regulatory principles and requirements
- Accountable that products and services are designed, delivered and maintained in accordance with applicable information security, privacy and regulatory requirements
- Ensure information risk assessment process and implementation guidelines are followed
