Based in Switzerland, this Eaton's entity has been pioneering the design and production of charging systems for electric vehicles since 2009. It manufactures charging stations, designs management software for charging networks, operates charging stations and serves as an electric mobility service provider. Green Motion business unit creates breakthrough technologies, including charging stations for electric planes and onboard chargers for the automobile industry.

Green Motion Business Unit operates its own network of charging stations under the “evpass” brand. evpass has become Switzerland’s most extensive network as well as the leading EV charging hub in Europe. **Job Summary**

Reporting to our Head of Software Engineering, the Product Owner will be in charge of translating product vision and strategy into technical epics, features, stories and tasks. He will be organizing and prioritizing the backlog in close collaboration with the Products Managers and the Software Development Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- You help build the strategy and evolution of our EV charging products
- Create and maintain the Product Backlog, prioritising according to business value, product strategy and vision
- Provide backlog management and direction to sprint planning
- Elaborate User stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Lead the Product planning process, creating realistic Release Plans and managing stakeholder expectations for the delivery of new Features

**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor’s in software engineering or equivalent
- Agile certification

**Years and area of experience required**
- 5 or more years of experience as a Product Owner preferably with a SaaS product

**Technical knowledge**
- Ability to understand, design and challenge REST APIs
- Understanding the key principles of event-driven and microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of Agile Framework
- An asset: knowledge of the EV charging concepts and protocols like OCPP or OCPI
- Fluent in English and French

**Soft skills**
- Proven ability to get the right story and getting the story right
- An expert storyteller who is familiar with story mapping
- Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, listening and decision making skills, with strong ability and passion for interacting with engineering as well as business teams
