**You will make an impact in the following way**:

- You take ownership for a defined set of sales targets aligned to the responsibilities of the role as well as accountability for meeting and exceeding these targets over a sustained period
- Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of the vertical market and the selected target customers and maintain awareness of key players, technology and market trends, and competitor activity
- Identify possibilities to grow revenue in existing customers and exploit cross-selling opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction and share of wallet through deployment of robust account plans.
- Build compelling solution-based proposals with support from the Belden Customer Innovation Centers that generate demand and win projects
- Manage your own activity for performance, using standard work tools and processes including Z code framework, SFDC, Account Plans, Funnel Management, Quota Achievement Plans, Strategic Selling and Aspire for Sales
- Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of the vertical market and the selected target customers and maintain awareness of key players, technology and market trends, and competitor activity

**What you will bring**:

- Education - Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
- Experience - Proven track record in a sales role in the transportation market
- Tools - Z code framework, SFDC, Account Plans, Funnel Management, Quota Achievement Plans, Strategic Selling and Aspire for Sales
- Personality - You possess exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), strong analytical abilities for metric-driven environments, you thrive in fast-paced and pressured work settings, and demonstrates a proactive, flexible and pragmatic approach
- Willingness to travel - Predominantly domestically as required to perform the duties of the role
- Language proficiency - Fluency in English, German and French
