**Head Oncology Regional Market Access**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Head of Oncology Regional Market Access is accountable for leading Market Access (MACs) in the Regions including public affairs and policy, strategy development, launch readiness, and stakeholder engagement and advocacy. A primary focus will be to prepare regions and markets (beyond the Must Win Markets) to achieve target prices and broad reimbursement across the Bayer Oncology portfolio with a focus on launching brands
- Represents Oncology MACs to Regional Management Leaders Teams in the Americas, Europe, APAC, and LATAM and liaise with Integrated Product Teams around strategies to optimize pricing and reimbursement.
- Develops market access strategies for oncology brands for growth countries in the region through strong commercial awareness, technical expertise, strategic thinking and influencing skills
- Ensures alignment between global and regional oncology access strategies and works with market access, medical affairs, communications, public affairs and policy to build advocacy, access marketing campaigns, HEOR/RWE deliverables for countries in the region and negotiation readiness
- Contributes to Bayer's sustainability initiatives around patient affordability programs and tiered pricing
- Leads and coordinates patient advocacy for market access in partnership with global medical affairs
- Represents non-Must Win Markets (across all regions) needs on selected teams
- Leads development of Oncology market access capabilities within the regions

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Academic degree preferably in Business Administration, specialization: Pricing, Strategic Planning, Marketing or similar
- 10+ years of professional experience in Market Access, Public Policy / Government Affairs, Pricing and Reimbursement in the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of developing and driving comprehensive market access strategies, in launching a pharmaceutical product and representing the company towards external stakeholders
- Oncology experience is a must
- Additional experience in an allied commercial or relevant function, e.g., market research, marketing, sales or related, preferred
- Engage and maintain a large network of international opinion leaders in relevant areas (30+) including Pricing & Reimbursement, Health Technology Assessment, Health Policy and Public Affairs, and/or Consulting
- Leadership: Experience in leading teams > 5 people, leadership in a local MACS role is a plus
- Detailed understanding of Pricing and Reimbursement systems of global key markets
- Knowledge on Health Technology Assessment methods / HE modeling is an advantage
- Ability to effectively work and communicate across multiple cultures and a breadth of functions and levels
- Analytical competencies to structure complex issues, synthesize key points and communicate and present in an easy-to-understand manner
- Strategic thinking, organization and planning skills, fluency in English, both verbal and written, a second language is an advantage
