- The Head Customer Portfolio Engagement (CPE) leads and drives the national accounts, retail group chains and networks portfolio strategy, understanding accounts needs & untapped business challenges while exploring economic & clinical influence, to improve healthcare delivery and accelerate patient access. The Head CPE develops and leads a holistic, integrative, and customer-centric C-suite engagement and is responsible for the achievement of national Accounts’ overall performance and business goals from a holistic portfolio perspective
- The Head CPE contributes to the transformation of our current commercial model from a product-centric approach to a customer-centric approach focusing on understanding the needs of the national accounts and networks.
- Your Responsibilities:

- National Hospital Key Accounts and Networks- Value added and revenue maximizing of portfolio through account approach with six university hospitals and selected Cantonal hospitals and strategic partnerships across all decision-making stakeholders (from C-suite to TA to Hospital pharmacy) in account defining business plans, customer benefits initiatives, priorities, budgets and performance activities aligned with priority TAs, medical, BEE.
- Manage and ensure full accountability for the P&L of the accounts, the achievement of Novartis products access goals, net sales market share and successful execution of customer contracts.
- Identify business opportunities and challenges within targeted accounts and deploys Novartis resources, accordingly, delivering an enhanced customer value proposition and leverages learnings across-brands to enhance Account capabilities for the rest of product portfolio
- Develop One Novartis Portfolio approach with high potential networks to maximize revenue and establish value-adding partnerships including referral acceleration and focused strategic solutions with top networks
- Build HCP access and long-term contracts with Top chains (e.g., Medbase, Medix, Sanacare)

Western Switzerland New Ecosystem Approach- Pioneer holistic approach to W-CH ecosystem to explore and shape Healthcare System readiness and enhance Novartis presence in the W-CH region and uplift the engagement of C-suite and key decision makers via new customer-centric organization design
- Making West-Switzerland the incubator of innovative stakeholder engagement and solutions

Leadership & Culture- Demonstrate high level of leadership; inspire, empower, create clarity for team and provide mentoring and coaching of the team and contribute to talent attraction, development, and retention.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Business Excellence, Medical, Value & Access) to effectively execute on prioritized tactics.

**Minimum requirements**
- What you'll bring to the role:
- University degree (business preferred, science); MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience working with high-performing regional
- and local commercial teams in healthcare/life sciences industry combined with 5+ years of senior KAM experience, proven track record of extensive Leadership.
- English, French and German fluent spoken & written.
- In-depth knowledge of the local customer/marketplace, key dynamics and current knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies within the TAs combined with a track record of highly successful delivery and positive performance results in KAMs.
- Advanced capability to analyze financial data as well as industry data related to sales, market share, price/volume, call activity, market research and ability to articulate data related to market trends, performance, and strategies to a broad internal and external audience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, reliable self-starter, proactive initiator, change agent with can-do attitude.
