**About this opportunity**

This position will be responsible for the management of our retention portfolio, as well as commercialization of all future product innovations for EMEA. Responsibility includes significant cross-functional leadership to plan and execute new product launches, as well as management of the regional portfolio in the area of retention. The individual will develop the strategy to capture the EMEA opportunity in the retention space and execute programs that strengthen our product utilization while redefining and delivering our value proposition.

The role includes key aspects of channel marketing and product management/marketing such as innovation roadmap, life cycle management, messaging, value proposition development, pricing and product placement.

This opportunity to join the Invisalign Portfolio team places you at the heart of product innovation in the EMEA region, with possibility to expand further on other areas of new product development.

The Associate Director, Retention Portfolio will report into the Director of Marketing, Portfolio EMEA and will be based in the Align EMEA Headquarters, located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.

**In this role, you will**
- Be responsible for developing the EMEA strategy for the retention portfolio, in collaboration with key regional and global stakeholders
- Be responsible for developing and executing product roadmap initiatives related to Invisalign retention portfolio (in conjunction with the global team)
- Lead the NPI commercial launch process for Invisalign retention in EMEA, including product positioning, value proposition development, pricing, key claims, KOLs and early adopter targeting
- Responsible for developing/executing scalable pilot initiatives and limited market releases
- Track overall business results including identification and monitoring of key metrics and other data sources that gauge the health and growth of the business, and future business trends
- Analyze the incremental impact of marketing programs including ROI
- Understand customer mindset and barriers to adoption and utilization, and develop/drive successful marketing programs that ladder to business objectives
- Provide fundamental marketing analyses and current/gap assessment analyses
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- The position also includes responsibility for the following:

- Segment expertise
- Product performance and sales mix
- Product definition & roadmap
- Lifecycle management: monitor in-market feature performance; identify post-launch improvements; End of Life/Service strategies
- Pricing strategy development
**In this role, you’ll need **
- Approximately 7-8 years of product management and/or marketing experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Dental experience is highly desirable
- Directly related experience in the development of innovative channel initiatives, launch programs, and project management
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferable)
- Exceptional project management skills; takes action and maintains ownership
- Ability to lead strategy development, testing and execution
- Ability to strategically determine the needs of the customer and identify how those needs can be met through the iTero product portfolio
- Strong ability to seamlessly work cross-functionally to deliver results
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills for business analysis; understands cost/benefit relationships
- Experience with international global enterprises desired
- Hands-on self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects at a time
- A passion for the product and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
