**Commercial Excellence Leader**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Training: Identify and develop comprehensive training program and partner with sales academy training team(s) to implement. Propose external support when needed. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and adjust as needed. Evaluate organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Performance Management: Partner with data officer to ensure data integrity and governance when creating reports that drive data-based decisions. Drive tangible and measurable improvements of market-based processes through leadership, training and mentoring of cross-functional teams. Responsible to perform pipeline analytics for a variety of purposes. Including but not limited to strategic sessions, key / strategic account preparation, tactical initiatives. Build a way for optimal account management approach. Documents business requirements and process flows to perform gap analysis against critical business requirements that define how processes are enabled with new and existing tools. Optimize best practice sharing scheme.
- Strategy Implementation: Partner with Strategy and M&A function to monitor the dashboard with competitiveness perspective. Partner with Strategy and Marketing teams to act as a consultant and leverages competitive industry / market information and recommends improvements that drive value and commercial effectives. Work with a variety of different functions to ensure that Energy Industries is delivering what its customers want in a way that’s cost-effective and efficient. Partner with Product Management, Pricing and Marketing functions to monitor and adjust execution plans based on market intelligence, product performance and the competitive environment.
- Innovation: Drives innovation of processes, methodologies, and data usage to empower the organization to understand their impact on strategic goals and amplify best practices in the HUBs and Business Lines. Examples could include investment of new platforms, acquisition of data, etc.
- Organizational Excellence: Ensures (with HRBP support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, trained, competent and directed. Drives organizational maturity based on the global ABB Commercial Excellence framework of processes and practices. Drives excellence in Commercial Excellence team by promoting continuous development of people and processes, and by championing ABB core values and principles.
- People Leadership: Embraces, enacts, promotes, and propagates through the organization the ABB core values, making them relevant for the specific organization (Group, Business Area, Division). Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Initiates and drives staff development and job rotation programs for the global product management community to develop competence and global awareness. Establishes and maintains succession planning for key positions within Commercial Excellence.

**Your background**:

- 10+ years of experience in a similar commercial role with at least 5 years of global experience, with an emphasis on transforming businesses during macro-economic conditions and a proven ability to define and build highly engaged, professional teams.
- Degree is Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Science or Business Management. MBA preferred.
- Strong execution track record and managing change.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes.
- Accountable for developing and managing complex initiatives to deliver business objectives.
- Global mind-set, inter-cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English is essential (both written and spoken)
