The Smoke Free Products (SFP) Group is undergoing a critical overhaul as we look to transform into an agile, consumer-centric business that harnesses technological innovation to deliver better, science-backed alternatives to adult smokers around the world. For our Consumer Insights Team, in Lausanne Switzerland, we are looking for a Manager Innovation Insights.
In this position you will be responsible to provide integrated, in-depth and useful data/insights to inform, guide and qualify the development of our mid to long term innovations.
You will:
- Identify demand spaces/ new opportunities by synthesising data from multiple sources including outside in.
- Lead foresight generation: key lifestyle, economic trends that will affect our categories/different audiences in the future.
- Drive and implement the insight plan to enable the identification of new innovation spaces and H2/H3 product and ecosystem opportunities across all of our smoke free platforms.
- Guide and validate early product and ecosystem innovation through primary research up to gate 1: from the definition of the value proposition/concept to consumer qualification.
- Input into early opportunity sizing.
We're looking for someone with:
- Advanced qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- Design thinking and lean methodologies
- Ability to synthesize and connect multi-source data and insights into coherent story for business impact
- Ability to facilitate ideation workshops
