The Smoke-Free Products (SFP) Group is undergoing a critical overhaul as we look to transform into an agile, consumer-centric business that harnesses technological innovation to deliver better, science-backed alternatives to adult smokers around the world. It is only by focusing on our strategic priorities and the right organization, fully enabled to deliver what matters the most for our consumers along their journey toward better alternatives, that we will be able to deliver a smoke-free future.

For our Consumer Centric Innovation team in Lausanne, Switzerland we are therefore looking for a Head Consumer Centric Innovation.

In this position you will be responsible to define the product & experience innovation strategy and innovation roadmap for specific platform and relevant projects. You will lead and coordinate the multi-functional team for their assigned initiatives.

You will:

- Lead projects that create value and impact to the specific Categories’ innovation roadmap, multi-category future + trends & foresights, future ecosystem with strong digital innovation roadmap.
- Collaborate with R&D, Categories, and key functions to define strategic value spaces and long-term experience corridors to shape the future innovation roadmap.
- Support long term opportunity exploration and upstream technology development: provide direction and set requirements to new technology developments to meet and anticipate consumer needs.
- Coordinate the multi-functional team of the future innovation project for the specific platform. Measure, assess and adjust progress of each milestone.
- Own decision making on key project aspects and priorities to ensure adherence to project objectives; pivot promptly when required.
- Support and guide researching product domain to build successful products and experiences, as well as leverage analytics, experiments, data, competitive analysis, and research to inform product & experience direction.
- Contribute to the design of the innovation ideation framework to deliver tangible ideas on a quarterly basis to fuel the innovation pipeline.
- Communicate, inspire and diffuse the progress/achievements of the Consumer Centric Innovation team.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Master’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Science.
- +7 years of experience in Product Development, Design & UX, Product Management, Marketing/Sales, Director Commercial in FMGC / consumer electronic business
- Master voice of the consumer, ability to project into the future to create new opportunities to impact Category growth trajectory
- Strong experience in digital, business and consumer understanding, track record in developing product strategies and long-term roadmaps/ innovation pipeline
- Design thinking and Agile Project Management
- Experience in defining requirement, managing complex cross functional programs & agile teams
- Experience in managing stakeholders at VP-Level and across all levels of the organization, strong ability to facilitate and influence decision making
- Creativity, Resilience, Forward-Looking, Consumer Centricity, Open mindedness
