Experienced professional and lead scientist in the field of analytical development. Subject matter expert in proteomics by LC-MS. Strong evidence for delivering on commitments and working collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams. Solid appreciation of commercial requirements. Established credibility within the Lonza network and broader scientific network.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Represent the team cross-discipline and provide strong scientific, technical and regulatory leadership at project level. Lead individual scientists and lab technicians on complex projects.
- Extensive industry experience in Mass Spectrometry in the field of intact mass analysis, Peptide Map.
- Method development, validation and trouble-shooting experience on LC/MS methods (Waters, Agilent, Thermo-Fisher instrument)
- Ability to design experiments, interpret and track results
- Experience in use of common laboratory software such as Empower, Biopharma Finder, Proteome Discover, electronic lab notebook, LIMS
- Projects: lead multi-disciplinary matrix teams on complex projects in the area of scientific expertise. Lead problem solving and lessons learned activities.
- Scientific tasks: design adequate experimental plans and data analysis methods, write and review high quality reports.
- Customer interactions: develop strong customer relationships.
- Training: lead training activities in the area of expertise.

**Key requirements**:

- Industrial experience in development of Mass Spectrometry methods
- Experience in managing teams
- Experience in Design Experiment and result interpretation
- Experience in LC/MS software (e.g. Proteome Discover, Biopharma Finder etc.)
