We are seeking an experienced individual for the role of Global Head of US Cross Border & Tax Transparency within the GWM C&ORC organization. As the Head of US Cross Border & Tax Transparency, the individual will be responsible for ensuring that Credit Suisse group entities of the UBS Group maintain and manage a robust compliance framework to appropriately mitigate US cross border, FATCA, AEI, client tax compliance and capital & currency controls risks, as well to facilitate the integration of the programs as part of the UBS acquisition of CS. The Global Head works closely with stakeholders across the business, financial crime prevention, and compliance globally to develop the strategic direction of the program and to implement the program framework and controls.

**Your future colleagues**

You will be managing an area comprised of several teams covering the areas of tax transparency reporting compliance (FATCA, AEI), client tax compliance, US cross border, capital & currency controls, testing activities, governance & oversight as well as US authorities inquiries/special projects. Teams cover both global framework & standards as well as execution across the Swiss booking platform and beyond. Your stakeholders will be local, regional and global across all lines of defence. Additionally, you will:

- Maintain governance and prepare periodic reporting to the board of directors as well as regulators
- Manage regulatory interactions and examinations, regulatory reporting and presentations to various authorities and regulators
- Act as FATCA Responsible Officer on behalf of the CS Group
- Lead, manage and inspire the teams

- You Offer
- Master’s degree preferably in law or accounting and at least 8 years of experience in a tax transparency related role, knowledge of US cross border securities laws, financial crime compliance knowledge is of advantage
- Experience in interacting with governmental authorities and financial regulators
- Reliable and resilient with a flair for diplomacy and articulation of complex topics to senior business and compliance management
- Experience with the US Dept. of Justice Swiss Banking Program or similar is an advantage
- You are well organized, have very good analytical skills and are able to comply with tight deadlines whilst handling multiple complex situations
- Experienced Manager who can strategically steer multiple teams and has a proven ability to lead staff
- Understands accountability of this role and can work autonomously
