**What you’ll do**

In this role, you will facilitate the regional innovations through Science Translation & Advocacy (STA) team in each region, ensure Health Nutrition & Care (HNC) Innovation pipelines and concepts are to be implemented in the region as well as cross-regional fertilization to support the HNC business, in alignment with the business priorities in each region.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Work closely with HNC Innovation, participate actively in the inclusion of Innovation activity implemented in the regional STA and deployment at the forefront of the organization within the region
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Bioanalytic teams on regional needs and opportunities for human clinical trials
- Collaborate with RVPs to create and maintain the ideal portfolio of regional STA support in the individual regions. This includes, for example, running regular annual workshop for each region to create, validate the road map and identify the road blockers
- Facilitate to remove the identified roadblocks and ensure each RSTA member to drive the aligned science approach. This includes for example, develop platforms of brochures and infographics coupled with data tailored to each region enabling regional adaptation for the global concepts with efficiency
- Coordinate with partner functions, including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, global segment and the HNC global innovation team
- Coordinate with adjacent business groups such as Food & Beverage to monitor the workload to ensure appropriate resource is mobilized for regional business
- Developing clear communication on the science behind our solutions to our customers by delivering a credible scientific story based on customers’ and consumers’ needs
- Enable regional translation and adaptation of complex scientific concepts and human evidence by supporting Head of regional STAs to have access with the most relevant elements in complex scientific concepts and help communicating clearly and plainly the science behind our products
- Ensure each region is equipped with strategic plan to advocate for HNC’s key innovation launch as well as tenacious topics to our business. Identify key issues in each region.

**You bring**
- PhD degree in Life Sciences. Knowledge of nutrition, food science, and nutrition evidence required for messaging and claims
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Nutrition industry, including experience in Nutrition Science & Advocacy
- A negotiator skillset, with ability to collaborate across business groups, regions, and departments and to establish strong relationships with key external stakeholders
- Proven capability to work transversally and translate existing insights across scientific disciplines including for life
- and environmental science to delivery business impact through creating a comprehensive scientific story
- Recognition by external stakeholders as a strong & credible advocate for nutrition.
- Substantial relevant experience in a non-EMEA region

The RSTA is accountable for the key deliverables in building & leveraging of nutrition science, translating science into regional adaptation, regional science communication for our customers, KOLs & consumers and advocating for nutrition.
