**About **Head of Clinical Sales**

The Head of Clinical Sales will be responsible for managing the team of Clinical Specialists, their routines and processes as well as defining and implementing the standards of this team.

Our Clinical Specialists are the face of Distalmotion in the hospitals where Dexter systems are installed and are responsible for the clinical experience and the utilization of Dexter as well as for the consumable sales.

In this exiting role you will be working in a fast paced scale-up environment and will establish the clinical specialist related processes and required infrastructure as well as lead the future Clinical Sales organization at Distalmotion.

**Tasks**
- Own clinical support and clinical sales process, standardize approach across clinical specialties and geographies
- Implement and standardize procedure cards and surgeries in collaboration with the clinical development team
- Implement and evolve the installation procedure and related project management
- Establish and maintain off-label clinical support process
- Establish distributor clinical support process
- Implement the CRM & data gathering based on guidance from sales operations
- Collaborate with training department on the initial training, deliver training for new installations and new surgeon trainees in existing installations
- Complement new hire training for new clinical specialists: processes, project management and SOP
- Establish and build mentoring of new and existing clinical specialist colleagues
- Support of pre-PO activities of sales, such as dry labs, OR visits etc.
- Standardize and evolve pre-PO dry lab process
- Facilitate experience sharing between CS across EU
- Communicate product updates/changes and improvements to the clinical team
- Trouble shooting guide: harmonization and implementation using companywide know how
- Interface to product management and clinical development
- Own the net promoter score results for customer satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Min 5 years’ professional experience in similar roles in medical device
- Proven track record in managing and developing a sales force in the medical device industry
- Strong background in clinical sales
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to recruit team members and manage a large team
- Bachelor degree or higher in technical/ business/ medical or related areas
- Experience in implementing and improving business processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Forward thinking combined with detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Fluent in English mandatory. Other European languages (preferably French or German) would be a great asset
- Ability to travel up to 80%, dependent upon account distribution
