We are searching for an **experienced Commercial Strategy, Business Operations and Alliance integration leader to join our team as a Senior Director** and become a core member of our global commercial team as we expediate our efforts to develop a World Class Commercial organization.
**What will you do?**

As the head of business strategy and operations your primary goal will be to establish Covis as a world class, successful, commercial organization by partnering with the COO to develop and maintain a data-supported corporate narrative defining Covis’ optimal positioning in the specialty pharma space, including Therapy Areas of focus and supporting rationale, and ensure focused execution aligned with this strategy. Additionally building a scalable Go-to market model will be critical to optimize new launches and line extensions.

You will also lead the creation, and communication, of strong business practices globally by building structure for operational excellence such as; optimizing the Mthly and Qrtly business review process, building management reporting tools, defining go-to
- market models, collecting and generating commercial insights for strategic decision making and leveraging insights to build stronger synergies globally and cross functionally. To achieve this, you will be required to work closely with different functions at global and affiliate levels.

This responsibility also includes the global strategic leadership for our hospital portfolio of products, ensuring strategic prioritization of asset management, establishing key business processes such as annual operating plans, business reviews and financial management, LCM execution building strong partnerships with clinical development for launch readiness of line extensions and executional excellence etc. In addition, you will be the commercial lead for all alliance management and new product integration within the hospital focused business.
**Specific activities will include**:

- Works closely with the COO to redefine the commercial strategy, implement and maintain effective setup and governance in collaboration with the affiliates, build Go to Market principles, and to build and priorities KPIs to support operational excellence
- Leads, maintains and facilitates cross functional decisions for short term and long-range strategic plans.
- Builds strategic clarity and leads operations, within the Hospital portfolio, to prioritize portfolio of products. Works closely with the markets to define the regional business operations plan and ensure seamless execution of the strategy.
- Leads key projects to build commercial scalability and operational excellence
- Leads global commercial input for alliance management partnering with cross functional teams to ensure product and market readiness
- Partners closely with the BD team on potential acquisitions targets which could strengthen our hospital portfolio.
- Builds a high-performance culture and fosters a coaching culture to maximize performance and development of everyone
**What are we looking for?**
- Strong operational background and successful product launch experience at local and/or global level.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative / think “outside-the-box.”
- Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to successfully drive projects to completion.
- Strong financial capabilities.
- Working commercial experience with specialty care/hospital products.
- Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining focus and a forward-thinking, customer centric attitude.
- Strong x-functional mindset and experience in matrix management.
- Must be able to accommodate travel up to 30% of the time.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; comfortable with rapid change, resource constraints, and the need to be flexible about roles.
- Business development and alliance management skills a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team and to influence at all levels in the organization.
