**SC Johnson is currently looking for a Manager, Procurement EMEA 3PM based in Rolle, Switzerland.**

**SUMMARY**

The Manager of EMEA Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for creating a strategic advantage for SCJ, in this critically important portfolio. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of the commercial procurement strategy set for the Contract Manufacturing network across all key technologies and SCJ business units, establish and maintain a robust 3PM supplier network that delivers innovation, quality, customer service and, cost, through the best in class procurement practices and processes.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Own the commercial relationship of 3PMs within defined category(ies) to deliver Cost, Cash, Supplier Network Optimization, SHE, Quality, Customer Service, DP and Sales Growth
- Partner with regional Supply Chain Leadership teams in the EMEA clusters, define, align and deploy strategies that ensure a robust, reliable, cost effective & flexible contract manufacturing network is in place to deliver business objectives
- Lead the process of regional supply market understanding, regional search, selection and contract strategy alignment for the category
- Develop and manage strategic alliances with suppliers to assure a preferred status in the presentation of new technologies and innovation opportunities, while creating an advantaged cost position for SCJ.
- Build strategic supplier relationships as part of the Supplier Relationship Management process
- Lead the creation, negotiation and execution of legal contracts with Contract Manufacturers to fully cover the in control spend
- Lead and develop direct and indirect reports
- Lead cross-functional teams, projects and programs to deliver year-over-year cost savings and cash improvements
- Seek and share best practices and develop synergies in key areas such as market analysis, cost modeling, risk analysis, benchmarking and development of Procurement Strategies
- Drive a culture of strong performance. Partner with the regional Supply Chain organization to ensure contingency plans exist, an understanding of alternate supply sources is developed, and a balanced risk approach to business awards is achieved to maintain a healthy level of mutual importance with the supplier, and minimize instances of sole sourcing
- Partner with RD&E and the global/regional marketing team to develop programs for 3PM-based innovation
- Champion compliance and change management activities within the team to continually improve the efficiency and quality of contract manufacturing execution

**Required Skills / Experience / Competencies**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Business/Engineering/Finance or related field
- 7+ years combined and solid experience in Procurement (Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing)
- Experience in FMCG is a great advantage
- Ability to develop regional business cases and strategic business plans
- Demonstrated strategic sourcing skills
- Demonstrated skills include strategic thinking, leadership, negotiations, and problem analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a vast number of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong intrinsic motivation and self-led
- Strong business acumen
- Proven track record of delivering results in a cross functional environment.
