Director, Planning Emea Supply Chain

The role of EMEA Planning director is accountable for for end to end planning in the EMEA Organization. The planning team includes Demand planning and forecasting, Supply planning of finished goods (internal and external manufacturing), Materials requirements planning, production scheduling (MPS) and distribution requirements planning.

The EMEA Planning Director role reports into the Senior Vice President Global Supply Chain for Global Consumer Brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the regional champion, representing the region in the global planning community and ensuring alignment with the Global Supply Chain roadmap.
- Harmonize, drive, and continuously improve Demand Planning Strategies, Processes and Toolset within the Region
- Ensure compliancy to the globally defined Planning strategies, processes, working procedures, metrics and tools within the Region
- Own the EMEA S&OP and S&OE processes, developing and improving it in alignment with the S&OP global template and practices
- Develop and enhance the Planning technical skills and competences in the Region, by assessing and identifying knowledge gaps and running relevant education/training or hands-on sessions
- Ensure strong leadership in managing demand planning to balance customer satisfaction and inventory, driving effective and efficient demand planning for existing and new products.
- Review KPI performance against targets driving a culture of true root cause analysis with action plans and strong performance management. Including engagement with cross functional teams to correctly address true root causes.
- Lead, coach and develop all the regional planners

**Required Competenties, Experience & Qualifications**:

- 10+ years experience in a broad Supply Chain, S&OP pr planning environment, with a proven track record leading large teams
- Track record in delivering results and working in a team-based, cross functional environment
- Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concept and communicate with business stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Master degree in Engineering, supply chain management or business administration
