**The Role**:
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Ensure each project is conducted according to AMCOR safety policy including Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessments
- Ensure projects are managed effectively ensuring timelines and budgets are respected
- Create detailed engineering / technical budgets to assist with the generation of Capital Applications (CEAVs)
- Perform general projects management, covering all related areas and stages, from preliminaries until post completion audits
- Keep technical oversight of equipment installed, upgraded, obsolete throughout ASC plants and / or in storage
- Assure that all major technical projects in ASC are properly managed, supported and timely reported
- Provide required technical support to all ASC plants for equipment selections, installations, maintenance and removals
- Provide a qualified support to other ASC departments and services ( OHSE, finance, procurement, logistics, supply chain, risk management )
- Conduct relationships with external suppliers
**Activity supporting the digitalisation programme within ASC.**
You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a drive for results along with the ability to build and maintain interpersonal and business relationships.
- You must be a strong communicator with he ability to avoid and manage conflicts, the ability to influence others and the ability to work under tight budgets and timelines
- Working languages: English upper-intermediate is a must, other languages will be of an advantage
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**Background and experience**:
- Printing Industry knowledge, with understanding of key processes (in-line, off-line, gravure, offset, HFS, etc)
- Demonstrable in depth experience in production / manufacturing environment, and a a printing media / colour management background. Tobacco industry experience is a plus
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Proven ability to succeed in a large, complex and evolving organisation, and to deliver against tight deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and react at short notice to internal and external customer needs
- Displays genuine passion to coach and train peers, with empathy, to help them achieve their goals
- Projects professionalism and quick to gain credibility with colleagues and customers
- Strong team player and manager with successful track record of building effective stakeholder relationships, developing a continuous improvement culture, facilitating best-practice sharing.
- Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to cross-functional team work with proven team results
- Willingness to travel
