The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide support for the President and Managing Director of GM Europe and his direct-line Executive leadership team to enable them to be as effective as possible. This involves effectively working with internal and external key stakeholders, making autonomous decisions, and understanding the complexity of local and global dynamics.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provide sophisticated calendar management for the President and Managing Director and his Executive leadership team. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
- Act as a liaison and provide support to the President and Managing Director and his Executive leadership team.
- Arrange and handle all logistics for Executive leadership team meetings and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials; and record meeting minutes when requested.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the President and Managing Director and his Executive leadership team's ability to effectively lead the organization, including: assisting with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; maintaining social media accounts, making travel arrangements; and completing expense reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Executive leadership team, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect the Executive leadership team's style and organization policy.
- Work closely with the Executive leadership team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**
- Significant Executive support experience, including supporting C-level Executives is preferred
- Experience in working in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
- Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens
- Hands-on mentality, organizational skills, and flexibility
- High degree of integrity
- Sense of corporate political trends in a large corporation
- Sovereign and professional approach to the upper management level
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials
- Experience in maintaining and managing social media profiles
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German, any other European language is a plus
