We are seeking a highly motivated leader and accomplished professional to assume the pivotal role of VP European Partner Markets (EPM). In this role you will be responsible for the EPM P&L and lead the strategic direction and significant business growth across our European Region. This senior leadership role requires exceptional leadership skills, in-depth market knowledge, and the ability to drive results in a competitive pharmaceutical landscape. You will be responsible for overseeing the EPM Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access functions, all while collaborating with the functional departments such as Compliance, Finance, HR, Legal, QA, and Regulatory Affairs. Managing operations and driving growth across 21 countries in Europe, with potential expansion into additional markets, this role carries significant responsibility and influence. In this position you’ll report to Medison CCO and will be part of the Medison Global Leadership Team.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 15 years industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or Business is a must with a preference for a Masters Degree.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including a proven track record of leadership roles in commercial operations, medical affairs, and market access at senior level.
- Proven experience in senior management roles within large-scale, high-growth companies.
- Strong understanding of the European healthcare landscape, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are highly desirable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute short and long-term strategies for Medison EPM, aligning them with the company's overall objectives.
- Oversee regional strategic plans and ensure alignment with corporate objectives with partners.
- Ensure short
- and long-term revenue opportunities are maximized in order to achieve commercial targets and provide quarterly updates to senior leadership.
- Continue to build a high performing, compliant team to support the business and ensure the partnership approach in all countries Provide strong leadership to the EPM Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set the tone and implement Medison values and behaviors.
- Drive collaboration and effective communication within the matrix organization, ensuring cross-functional alignment and efficient decision-making.
- Oversee all aspects of commercial operations, including sales, marketing, and business development activities, to maximize revenue and market share across EPM.
- Drive sales and marketing strategies to drive product growth, enhance brand recognition, and expand market penetration.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partner organizations, distributors, healthcare providers, and key opinion leaders.
- Determine company policies for marketing and oversee all marketing activities, including planning, supervision, and direction.
- Foster a high-performance culture, promoting employee development and ensuring a motivated and engaged workforce.
- Estimate the scope of existing potential within the organization and develop actionable strategies to capitalize on market trends.
- Drive operational planning, organizational methodologies, processes, priority setting, budgeting, and budget control activities.
- Lead in the assimilation of Medison's vision and contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of the company.
- Ensure adherence to the code of ethics and regulatory guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, compliance and integrity.
- Regularly provide comprehensive reports encompassing the overall company status, in-depth market insights, and key performance indicators.
- Report all safety information received via internal and external interfaces to the Pharmacovigilance department.
