This role is anchored in Rare Disease (RD) operations in Novo Nordisk that is almost like a biotech that has the muscles of one of the largest and most successful pharmaceutical companies in the world, Novo Nordisk.
**The position**
As Project VP of HC Solutions Innovation & Delivery (HSID) you will have a direct report to the Executive VP and head of RD. You will lead a team that will be part of the RD & Advanced Therapies Global Project Teams (GPTs) that consists of all functions across the value chain in Novo Nordisk. You serve as an interface of GPT towards delivery teams. Your team’s role is to enhance the value of our products with customer-facing integrated 5D therapeutic solutions, and the scope is across all current and future RD Therapy Areas, e.g., rare blood, endocrine and renal disorders and others to come.
You will drive the Digital Health strategy for RD, ensure acceleration of project delivery and collect all strategic commercial input to increase the 5D innovation height and you are responsible for the launch and commercialisation of the customer facing 5D solutions with first pilot rollouts in 2023. That includes being an ambassador of 5D and shape the understanding of 5D in RD and within internal stakeholders.
Your primary internal stakeholders are Commercial teams, Digital Health, Device & Delivery Solutions, Regulatory Affairs, Global IT and the digital innovation hubs in operations (affiliates and regions including North America). Towards the external world, you are networking with external delivery partners, accelerators and incubators. Customer and Key Opinion Leaders relations and insights are key to success.
**Qualifications**
By experience you have developed a strong business and commercial acumen that makes you excellent in working with senior management and you possess strong communication and stakeholder management (internal and external) skills from working in complex matrix organisations. You are recognized for your ability to create and drive a cross-functional strategy with demanding stakeholders in a diplomatic and assertive way.
As a person you are innovative and curious, and you are a mindful leader that is known for your ability to inspire and create buy-in and followship. In addition, you are known to drive performance and deliver quick wins. Senior leaders in Novo Nordisk are expected to be change management agents, well-structured and dedicated leaders with a cross-organisational focus demonstrating high integrity and a proactive mind-set.
**About the department**
The HSID team is dedicated to creating strategic commercial input and developing integrated 5D customer facing solutions with rare disease. We aim to boost our mega launches and explore new value creation whilst simplifying complex treatment regimens and providing better outcomes for our patients. HSID will provide dedicated program management support at the same time championing the agreed 5D solutions ensuring fast and quality 5D delivery.
This will be actioned via a project fit approach selecting the best internal or external execution model whilst working closely with Devices & Delivery Solutions and Digital Health amongst others; thereafter, ensuring a successful launch management and roll-out of the innovation.
