Project Manager Culinary Innovation

Reporting to the VP Culinary Excellence the role of Project Manager Culinary Innovation is responsible for managing the full scope of Culinary and Food Solutions related projects. In this role you will collaborate closely with global culinary teams, in particular the menu development teams on Food Solution projects.
The aim of this role is to engage with customers to develop new and innovative menus and products.
Main
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop menu concepts and recipes as required in partnership with customer demands by understanding consumer tastes based on Trendscope/Blackswan reports.- Review product specifications; evaluate the ease of menu preparation; taking established procedures and budgets into consideration.- Collaborate with defined food suppliers on new innovations and products.- Plan and execute workshops and customer presentations, working under guidance from the VP Group Culinary Excellence- Support the Global Culinary Excellence team in projects as required.
Qualifications:
Education- Certified Chef with completed vocational training in culinary and related hygiene course.- Project Management Certification, lean management skills preferred.
Work Experience- Qualified Chef including Global Food experience preferable with in-flight catering experience- Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in a corporate environment, ideally in the hospitality industry- Minimum 5+ years project management experience in Food & Hospitality industry- Experience in managing a large-scale food production and assembly essential
Technical skills- Experience of managing budgets, financial and performance targets- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages- Good understanding of Food manufacturing and processes
Communication and other skills- Fluent in verbal and written in English and any other languages are desirable- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.- Customer focused, innovative and pro-active thinker- Self-driven, reliable, and organized. team player with strong initiative and self-direction
