**Business Development Manager, EMEA**
**Location: Geneva Switzerland (Hybrid)**
**Job Term: Full-time**
**The Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:
Market Review:
- Identify regulatory structures and guidelines within our target markets and acquire the necessary know-how for the Picarro solution to meet regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and monitor the competitive landscape and create compelling Sales & Marketing tools.
Market Development & Regulatory Acceptance of Picarro's Solutions:
- Channel customer and regulatory feedback.
- Provide input to Picarro product management and engineering to further develop the Picarro products.
- Support customers in their work with the regulator and help increase regulatory acceptance of the Picarro solutions.
- Develop technical guidance and support the creation of industry norms (DIN, CEN) to increase market penetration and establish Picarro as industry leader.
- Support the integration of the Picarro solution with customer specific ERP systems.
- Identify opportunities and define methods to improve the analytics tools and platforms.
Operational Excellence:
- Define/Develop new tools to improve customer experience and internal efficiency.
- Refine existing methodologies to meet the specific customer requirements.
- Support the organization of field trials and define their objectives and deliverables.
- Identify strategies and partner companies to meet the operational requirements of our customers.
**Qualifications**:
- BA/BS required or Master/MBA degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer facing engineering support role.
- 8+ years of experience working in related industries (Gas/Energy/Utilities).
- A proven track record of success in business development (targeting large utilities and gas companies).
- Strong understanding of public utilities commission policies and procedures.
- Experience with the digitalization of the energy sector and "Big Data" analytics tools.
- Outstanding ability to develop strong customer relations throughout a targeted customer's organization (From individual contributors to Executives).
- Ability to assimilate technical information quickly and to fully understand and appreciate Picarro product's unique differential advantage.
**Language Skills**:
- English: Professional working proficiency - Required
- German: Professional working proficiency - Required
- French/Greek: Proficiency - Asset
