HR Director Vascular Intervention (f/m/d)

Our Global Business Unit Vascular Intervention (VI) is developing high-tech and cutting-edge innovation products to support the heart function by implanting e.g. stents, balloon catheters using latest technologies and inhouse IP developments.

VI has its global Headquarter in Buelach close to Zuerich in Switzerland but several branches more in other countries,

e.g. Germany, Singapore or US.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Establishing a unique and best employee experience for all our employees and people managers - our people are the heart of our organization
- Collaborating strongly, positive, empathetic and passionate with your Team, your Manager and Business Leaders, leading the HR Business Partners, Experts and Service Partners - be a role model of a modern leader
- Ensuring excellence of HR business partnership and acting as a Sparring partner for the Global VI Leadership team, being the gatekeeper in all HR related matters and projects and consulting the Leadership team with a focus on change management and business development
- Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of global people areas like Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Learning & Training
- identifying and addressing our employee’s and leaders support needs
- Being a strategic partner to the business by identifying the people aspects of business strategy and organizational projects, and providing HR advisory as a people expert
- Developing and executing the HR Strategy roadmap plus identifying the “daily business tasks” which need to be running flawlessly - this is a key priority to ensure business success as well as business growth for VI globally
- Building a strong collaboration and partnership with the Global Centers of Excellence to reach higher efficiency, through the creation of global, regional and local HR toolkits and HR processes that will make a difference for every BIOTRONIK employee
- Leading and participating in global People projects - shape and co-create the future of People HR within our internal global ONE HR TRANSFORMATION change project - that contribute to the achievement of our strategic organizational goals
- Ensuring the deployment of global people policies, processes and projects within the VI Business while advising on market specificities
- Walking the talk - develop, support, manage and sustain the best talent for BIOTRONIK - our people are organization’s heart

**Your profile**:

- 7+ years experience in the field of HR (oder HR Management), previous experience leading HR functions in Switzerland, deep knowledge in all HR related matters, including labor law
- University or University of Applied Science Degree or equivalent. International experience, ideally in a life science sector would be good
- Ability to operate effectively within a global matrix HR organization
- Fluency in English and German. Other languages (e.g. French) are a plus
- Being passionate about and a true believer in people - their talents, strengths, skills but also weaknesses
- Hands-on mentality with a high level of entrepreneurial spirit: Working with a proactive attitude to identify opportunities for improvement - identify gaps and develop solutions on addressing them
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities: Demonstrating flexibility and agility to operate with a certain level of ambiguity and thrive in fast-changing environments
- Experience in leading global projects would be a plus - strong willingness and readiness to learning and working in such a multi-cultural and international environment will be important
