We are looking for a Director Team Development to join our HR department within our Operational headquarter in Basel. Please note that we can only accept applicants who are eligible to work in Switzerland or in possession of a valid work permit

**Role description**
- As a Director Team Development you will have a direct reporting line to the Director Learning & Development
- You will support Operations by designing and implementing learning & development opportunities that will enhance guest excellence and behavioral skills for crew employees
- You will design a realistic on-boarding journey for all crew members according to their functional role including leadership
- You will participate in the definition and execution of crew curricula including learning & career path from crew to leadership roles and from ship to corporate/office roles
- You will ensure that learning is a continuous journey including a realistic follow-up for each training program
- You will participate in the design, implementation and follow-up of training opportunities & talent development for office employees including on-boarding
- You will ensure consistency and alignment between different training programs in terms of message, content and pedagogy
- Ensure close alignment between Business Operations & Human Resources

**Key responsibilities**
- Partner with Business Operations to define development and training needs for different departments
- Refine the talent framework for crew and head office as well as design and deliver programs to enhance our company culture and leadership
- Deliver training initiatives including train-the-trainer and contracting specialized external trainers
- Participate in the creation of digital learning activities

**Key qualifications**
- You have 5-10 years of working experience in learning & development and/or training with a focus on people & talent development in an international corporate environment
- You have a strong knowledge in pedagogical engineering and a proven experience in designing, writing and implementing training content on soft and hard skills
- You have a proven ability to develop, drive and document a clear vision for people development programs
- You use your strong communication skills to connect with stakeholders
- You have a strong experience in delivering innovative (face to face and digital) training initiatives tailored to the different audiences including train-the-trainer
- Strong project management
- Your spoken and written English is fluent, and you are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Positive Personality and great people judgment

**Nice to have qualifications**
- Organizational Design competencies
- Experience in hospitality environment

**Education**
- You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Psychology, Business or Human Resources or something equivalent and further certifications in Learning & Development
