About This Role:
The Senior Account Executive develops and executes a territory plan and strategy to generate and close new business within the assigned territory within an assigned quota. This role involves conducting a needs analysis to qualified prospects and addressing critical business issues, thereby demonstrating Forrester’s value to potential clients. This individual serves as a primary point of contact in Forrester, maintain a professional relationship with clients and prospects at the C-level and coordinating the sales approach of the extended Forrester team across research, consulting, customer success, executive partners, and others.
**Job Description**:
- Achieve a new business sales quota in the assigned territory.- Prospect and close appropriate accounts from a target account list. Once closed, keep the relationship with these accounts and develop them further.- Sell Forrester’s entire services range (research, consulting, events) to senior IT and business leaders, positioning Forrester as a strategic resource.- Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow revenue and ensure client satisfaction.-
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts.- Analyze the changing business and technology issues and needs that Forrester’s potential clients face.- Work with research teams to better understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects.- Collaborate with the European sales team on regional campaigns and client events.- Communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree.- Three or more years’ successful sales to C-level business and technology executives.- History of prospecting and selling to €1 billion-plus companies.- Experience in managing client relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies.- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in German and English.- The ability and willingness to make cold calls and book meetings.- A team player with strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.- The ability to align client business objectives with Forrester solutions and shape client success.- Effective organization and time management skills.- Superior critical thinking, communication, and writing skills.- The ability to travel as necessary (usually up to 25%).
