**About our client**

Our client is an expanding services company with a robust roll-out strategy. They are backed by experienced Swiss investors who support them on their exciting growth journey. With the company having tripled in size and currently in the process of doubling again, they are seeking a new CFO to strengthen their leadership team and establish a state-of-the-art financial function to support their current development stage and future growth. The position will be located in Zurich, Switzerland.
- **What the job involves**
- Being the key business partner to the CEO, MDs and the Board
- Building and developing a best-in-class finance function
- Leading post-merger-integration (PMI) and supporting M&A transactions
- Providing relevant information, detailed analysis and background to underlying business performance, benchmarks and insights to support decision-making
- Reporting accurate financial results to the management, lenders and shareholders
- Managing budget, accurate forecasts and financial statement reporting
- Identifying, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge management information systems
- Managing cash, liquidity and the capital structure
- Continuously improving and optimizing finance processes and tools
- Spearheading organizational optimization and transformation
- Serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders, such as auditors, advisors, banks and lenders

**Who we are looking for**
- Extensive, diverse professional experience as a CFO or Head of Finance in a midsized company with a proven track record of delivering significant commercial results and driving change
- Ability to transform the finance function, processes and systems from a collection of SMEs to a Group
- Track record of building, leading and managing a finance team
- Ability to jump from strategic and commercially minded approach, to drilling deep into details and technical aspects of the finance function
- Experience within a PE portfolio company is appreciated, as well as a successful track record of M&A transactions and especially successful post-merger integrations
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and regulations applicable in Switzerland
- Outstanding finance skill set with strong controlling and accounting capabilities
- Good understanding of technology, systems and processes is key
- Experience in the services sector would be beneficial
- Results-driven and goal-oriented, with a constant drive for improvement
- Analytical thinking and data driven approach
- Modern, inclusive and empathetic leadership style
- A combination of outstanding analytics with persuasive communication and presentation skills
- Hands-on approach a must
- Fluency in both German and English
