Director, Eu Field Operations

General Description:
The Director of EU Field Operations will support the commercial field operations and technical needs across Europe. The incumbent will partner with local markets, EU leadership, and the Global COBA organization to provide expertise and insights as a strategic and tactical partner in support of the implementation of EU and local market priorities and initiatives.

Reports To: Senior Director, Business Operations (Commercial and Med Affairs)
Essential Functions of the job:
- Support Commercial teams in Europe by helping execute their priorities through data, systems, and tools
- Support the ongoing management and strategic direction for EU field tools (CRM, analytics platforms, etc.)
- Provide support/triage field issues and ensure resolution in an efficient and compliant manner
- EU technical business owner of Guru (reporting)
- Coordinate with EU legal & compliance on procurement
- In collaboration and alignment with European Commercial and Medical functions, support the management and direction of field force effectiveness components across Europe (targeting, sizing, alignment, etc.)
- Partner with EU stakeholders to understand business priorities, working with EU commercial operations teams
- Help implement, test, and conduct UAT testing working with Global SMEs
- Conduct ad hoc analyses in support of EU commercial stakeholders
- Primary point of contact for reporting issues and accountable for issue resolution & support
- Provide any needed support for local market business reviews, in alignment with EU operations direction
- Help evaluate and acquire competitive data and provide input and advice into the data strategy and data needs for EU field teams
- Work with local vendors/wholesalers to acquire streamlined sales data and support the processing in data warehouse working with global data warehouse teams
- Understand the requirements of Executive reporting and help implement the solution working with Global BI partners
- Train and educate GMs and country managers in the use of Executive dashboards
- Train, consult, educate, and communicate knowledge of field tools to new and existing employees across the EU
- Serve as point in communicating regarding tool updates, monthly event calendars, data refreshes, general updates, etc. to the EU Commercial org and field
- Provide support for local country and cluster leadership field operations needs
- Support, as needed, the Incentive Compensation team in the design, development, and ongoing administration of EU IC plans
Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience in a field operations role supporting multiple countries within Europe
- Bachelors / Master’s in Science or related field
- Experience in additional commercial roles highly desired
- Strong analytical and insight generation capabilities
- Strong understanding of operations and field effectiveness best practices
- Strong understanding of CRM and Business Intelligence dashboard design best practices
