**Description**:
We're hiring an **EMEA Strategic Planning Manager**

Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.

You will work with the Regional Seed Production and Supply Chain Leadership Team to develop the strategic plan and ensure portfolio of projects are identified, prioritized, executed, and results measured in alignment with plan. You will also ensure success of business strategy through proactive collaboration with business and project teams throughout all phases of the projects as well as cultivate, coach and mentor a diverse group of leaders, planners and analysts to achieve business goals. You will be expected to work with mínimal oversight and will have significant impact on the performance and perception of the regional seed production and supply chain organization.

**Your Challenge**:

- In partnership with leaders, develop and deliver the roadmap for regional seed production organization to drive business value through effective demand management, portfolio management, resource management, and operations management capabilities.
- Delivers the strategic review of the production network
- Manages the development and implementation of production efficiency efforts including lean manufacturing techniques
- Identifies and leads complex, cross-functional projects, programs and teams to generate sustainable improvements in production
- Coordinates departmental, regional or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded processes in order to effectively serve the business.
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules
- Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Analyze and present risk mitigation strategies to management.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior internal and external management.

**Qualifications**:** To Grow What Matters, You Will Need**
- Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Business, Supply Chain Management, or equiv. field. Masters' degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years' experience, proven ability to track and coordinate concurrent complex and cross-functional projects & deadlines.
- Lean, Six Sigma and or Continuous Improvement training (or willingness to complete) highly desirable
- Project management experience
- Strategy Development and implementation expertise
- Driving change and creating influence without direct organization reports & formal authority
- Strong general business competencies; strong analytical aptitude; ability to take complex information and summarize it in a meaningful way; ability to work effectively cross functionally and across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in completing project valuations and/or portfolio analysis.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to cultivate trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people at different levels leading to understanding, agreement, and acceptance.
- Strong ability to manage interactions and influence without authority.
- Capable of enabling team functionality and promoting team commitment and success to common objectives.
