Menhir Photonics is an innovative and dynamic Swiss laser manufacturer that provides cutting-edge laser solutions known for their robustness and reliability to customers worldwide. Our company is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and our team comprises experienced professionals who specialize in the development and production of lasers for research, aerospace and telecom markets. As we continue to expand our operations, we are currently seeking an Office Manager to join our team at our development and production site located in the vicinity of Zurich.

Tasks

**As the office manager you will be responsible for**:
1. Managing accounts payable and receivable in cooperation with our accountant.
2. Supporting HR and recruitment
- Keeping control of vacation and absences due to illness.
- Planning and organizing travelling.
- Planning of company events.

**1. Day-to-day office administration duties**:

- Handling shipments, managing documentation about imports/exports.
- Facilities management (liaising with landlord, cleaner, etc).

**Requirements**:

- Possess strong organizational skills and pay thorough attention to detail.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, where you were responsible for project and finance administration duties.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
- High levels of confidentiality, discretion, and empathetic skills.
- Your excellent interpersonal skills, combined with a friendly and efficient manner, will help you thrive in this role.
- You should be proficient in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel,), with advanced skills in creating templates.

**Benefits**:

- The position offered is at 40-60% with a starting date 1st of August.
- The workplace is located at our development and production site near Zurich (Glattbrugg).
