IT Vendor Manager Opportunity at Opfikon

Are you passionate about IT and looking for a new challenge? Join our team as an IT Vendor Manager (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Ambassador House, Opfikon, with the option for partial remote work.

What You'll Do
  • Manage IT contracts and continuously optimize existing and new ones.
  • Lead the Rfx process, negotiate contracts and pricing in collaboration with operational areas, corporate purchasing, and Legal.
  • Record contracts in the contract management system and handle order processing in the ERP system.
  • Monitor the Service Level Management process to review provider performance continuously.
  • Manage IT providers, establish communication and escalation procedures for provider issues.
  • Identify provider risks and define measures to minimize them.
  • Stay updated on the market, conduct benchmarking, and identify optimization potentials within the provider landscape.
  • Ensure control over IT providers: invoice verification, SLA monitoring, and continuous provider performance assessment.
  • Continuously optimize contract templates, Rfx documents, and internal processes.
  • Support in contract capture and harmonization as part of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities.
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a multinational environment.
  • Ideally, a degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics (HF/FH).
  • Strong contract knowledge.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and practical application.
  • Described as a confident, fair negotiator with assertiveness.
  • Structured and methodical work approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, knowledge of French is advantageous.
