The mission of the Human Resources department is to deliver the highest level of HR services to our internal and external clients while accompanying Cotecna’s growth projections by implementing programmes generating human capital growth.

The HR Assistant focuses on the employee lifecycle management, HR process delivery and performance, case management and HR administration/operational support.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Manage and follow up on all administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle management (e.g., offers and contracts, work permits, insurances, org. changes, absence management, work certificates)
- Update and maintain employee records (HRIS, personal files)
- Support employee on-boarding (welcoming new joiners, ensuring compliance to internal rules and applicable legislation, coordinating, and following up on inductions )
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures, including updating employee handbooks, creating job descriptions, and developing HR reports
- Provide qualitative and responsive day-to-day administrative support to the Corporate HR Team
- Advise the business and the HRBP’s in all legal and HR administrative / process issues
- Support the monthly payroll process
- Participate in recruitment activities (e.g., interview scheduling)
- Support any Learning & Development actions and duties as assigned
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills**:

- Swiss HR Certificate / Diploma / Degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in an operational and administrative HR role in an international environment
- Significant international exposure and cross-cultural agility are a plus
- Exposure to demanding services environments
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, intellectual rigor, reliability, accuracy
- Stakeholder management skills, excellent sense of service and quality focus
- High level of proficiency for full spectrum of HR administration, systems, practices and tools
- Continuous improvement capabilities, proactivity, autonomy, drive and execution ability
- Excellent communication skills (written - verbal), including discretion and confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills, cheerful disposition, empathy, flexibility, ability to deal and interface with wide range of people across multiple regions / cultures
- Superior computer literacy (MS, Sharepoint, HR Information Systems)
- A proven team player and open minded professional
- Fluent in English (C1) and French (C1)

**Note that it is a temporary position at 80% from May 1st, 2023 to December 31st, 2023.**:
