Your Mission is to develop a clear sales strategy and execute this strategy to drive accelerated growth of our health ingredients to the dietary supplements and functional food & beverages customers
- Identify new prospects, develop them into potential sales opportunities and secure purchase orders
- Account management of global existing direct customers
- Accurately forecast future sales for customers
- Own and hit sales targets within assigned accounts
- Build and maintain positive, long-lasting customer relationships
- Help our Customer Support team follow up on sales leads generated by trade shows and lead generation activities
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, our customer's needs and buying decisions
- Keep up to date on trends in the relevant markets, including competitive ingredients, formulation trends and consumer needs
- Participate in trade shows to develop relationships with customers and source new prospects
**Your profile**
**Your profile**:
- At least 5 years of B2B ingredient sales experience in one of the following sectors: nutraceuticals, foods and/or beverages
- Technical or science background, preferably in biochemistry, pharmacy or nutrition
- You are a self-starter, organized, willing to take ownership and go the extra mile
- You have a great sense of teamwork and are motivated to work in a small but multinational organization
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are able to excel under pressure, are a fast learner and willing to take the initiative
- You have a strong ability to drive sales and deliver purchase orders
- Willingness to travel to trade shows and make customer visits
**Your further have**:
- Experience of managing customer accounts using a CRM
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent fluent English speaking skills, any other language is an asset
- Proven experience of driving sales not just in a single country but across a geographical region (EMEA, APAC) is desired
- Bringing with you a strong network of industry connections would be an advantage
