About the role

This is a critical role for the Site and will report into the Manufacturing / Packaging Manager. This role is fundamental in executing the Continuous Improvement Plans for the Site, to achieve its growth and profitability objectives.

Role Description

The Process Engineer will aid in the implementation of the HAPS (Haleon Performance System) principles/tools at the site to deliver the Business Strategy, improve Business Performance (Safety, Quality, Service, & Cost), by using a data-driven approach. This role will also play a key role in Project Management and execution of Productivity initiatives that align with the Site goals.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Deliver results according to Site Strategy on KPI (HSE, QA, Costs)
  2. Deliver results according to HAPS standards
  3. End to End accountable of their area (line, PU, process)
  4. Conduct RCAs for safety & quality events, waste, line balancing, line flow
  5. Manage projects

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  1. Engineering degree or similar
  2. 3+ years of experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical environment
  3. The candidate must have experience in Operational Excellence Systems execution, such as VSM and/or experience in problem-solving techniques (Root Cause Analysis)
  4. Business Partner/Interpersonal – The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and networking skills to enable effective and influential internal communication.
  5. IT Skills: MS Office
  6. Agility: Capable of working on multiple projects at one time
  7. Communication: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

Preferred

  1. Chemical or Industrial engineering degree (Master Degree in Industrial Engineering)
  2. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  3. Knowledge of Pharmaceutical and OSHA regulatory training requirements
  4. The candidate must have experience in Operational Excellence Systems execution, such as Lean or Six Sigma project management
  5. Consumer Orientated/External perspective - The candidate will have a Manufacturing background with experience in FMCG Operations
  6. IT Skills: Power BI, OEE % data collection systems
