System Engineer

We are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected.Your missionThe systems engineer is the technical lead for electromechanical products, including slip rings, and develops robust, compliant, and cost-effective technical solutions. The role also specializes in printed circuit board (PCB) design using Altium Technical authority on projects: Take full technical responsibility for electromechanical products throughout the development cycle and during mass production. PCB Design using Altium Designer: Create multi-layer printed circuit boards, optimizing performance (impedance, signal isolation, RF) while meeting mechanical and electrical constraints. Technical solutions development: Based on client specifications, develop robust and economically viable technical solutions that meet electrical, thermal, and RF performance requirements. Requirements management: Verify and manage client requirements, translate them into detailed technical specifications, and maintain verification control documents (VCD). Technical documentation: Write comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, user manuals, test specifications, and manufacturing procedures. RF simulations and testing management: Perform RF and EMI/EMC simulations to ensure signal integrity and conduct validation tests (measuring RF parameters: IL/RL). Technical support and R&D: Participate in defining the R&D roadmap for strategic electronic developments and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams. External relations management: Interface with clients and suppliers on technical product aspects, manage discussions related to requirements, non-conformities, and waiver requests (RfD, NCs, NCFs). Experience feedback capitalization: Integrate feedback into continuous improvement of products and processes.Your storyEducation: Engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or control systems (EPF, HES, Master’s or equivalent).Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in PCB design using Altium Designer and interdisciplinary engineering (demanding applications such as aerospace, scientific instruments, military, etc.).Proficiency with RF simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, ADS) and RF measurement instruments (spectrum analyzers, IL/RL).Knowledge of electromechanical system design and thermal management.Experience using National Instruments equipment and LabView.Proficiency in PCB design with Altium Designer or equivalent.Experience in slip ring design.Proficiency with multiphysics tools and signal transfer technologies (Ethernet, video).Expertise in reliability analysis, thermal design, or vacuum technologies.Ability to work in an organized manner, methodically analyzing complex problems.Flexibility and creativity in approaching changes and technical challenges.Commitment to delivering performance-driven solutions while meeting deadlines.Ability to encourage and guide team members, clearly and inspiringly communicating strategies.Collaborative attitude with internal and external stakeholders, promoting direct and respectful communication.Solution and optimization-oriented mindset.Fluent in English and FrenchAre you ready for lift-off?Our core values - Passionate, Together, and Curious - transform challenges into opportunities.
