As part of Pharma International’s Commercialization Operating Model Effectiveness Team (COMET), this role will drive operational and commercial excellence by shaping and evolving Roche’s operating model to meet future challenges and opportunities. You will shape Pharma International’s operating model and drive real-world impact on patient outcomes.

As a Strategic Operating Model Partner, you will serve as a seasoned expert, blending deep industry knowledge with advanced consulting skills to deliver measurable business outcomes and accelerate progress in delivering medical solutions to patients worldwide.

The Opportunity:
  • You develop and apply a deep, expert-level understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including growth drivers, priority medicines/assets, regulatory landscapes, and competitive dynamics.
  • You serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by bringing nuanced insights and strategic perspectives that align with Roche’s commercial priorities.
  • You act as an architect and execute strategies to optimize operating model effectiveness, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and embedding operational excellence.
  • You design and implement complex organizational changes with precision, balancing long-term vision with immediate business needs.
  • You serve as a respected thought partner to senior leaders, bringing expertise and rigor to discussions on strategic, operational, and organizational topics.
  • You constructively challenge leadership decisions, offering evidence-based recommendations that inspire bold, forward-thinking actions.
  • You act as a systemic thinker, identifying patterns, interdependencies, and opportunities across global teams, markets, and regions.
  • You lead the integration of strategic initiatives, ensuring scaling and driving impact across complex organizational systems.

  • You serve as a coach and enabler for senior leaders, enhancing their ability to drive commercial effectiveness and achieve results.

  • You craft compelling narratives and deliver high-impact visual storytelling through sophisticated slide design and communication frameworks.
  • You leverage advanced project and program management capabilities to drive execution and ensure timely, impactful outcomes.
  • You design and implement robust decision-making frameworks that align diverse stakeholders and streamline governance processes.
  • You build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring buy-in for strategic initiatives and sustaining momentum for change.
  • You deliver measurable business outcomes by blending strategic vision with tactical execution.
  • You cultivate a results-oriented culture that values speed, agility, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are:
  • Consulting experience preferably with a top tier firm, with a proven track record of operating model design and implementation in global organisations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the pharmaceutical industry or similar highly regulated, complex business environments.
  • Recognized for solving complex, multi-faceted business challenges with clarity and precision.
  • Deep, expert-level understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and their implications for operating model evolution.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing innovative operating models and commercial strategies.
