Tableau (a Salesforce company) is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our team in Zurich.

You will be responsible for selling Tableau focusing on the Mid-Market segment in the Swiss German region. As a Tableau Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and fostering strong relationships with clients. The elegance of our solution is that it can be used by anyone - and can help everyone - which enables you to target a wide remit of potential prospects and influencers across any organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets within the designated territory.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including partners, solution engineers, and other Salesforce teams to ensure a flawless customer experience.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of Tableau's solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and Tableau.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to optimally position Tableau's offerings.

Qualifications:

  • This territory will be a mix of Installed base and greenfield accounts. The candidate needs to have strong hunting experience, in finding and developing new logos.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of deploying a structured methodology, for finding, convincing and converting prospects into customers.
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Retail/CPG is preferred, but not a must.
  • Ideally 3 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in SaaS sales is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
  • Experience and ability to work in a matrix organisation.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for driving business growth and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
