Information Security Officer (ISO)

Location: Wollerau

What are we looking for?

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for information security within the Vorwerk International legal entity who works in close collaboration with the global information security organization.
  2. Sparring Partner and deputy for the ISO of 2 smaller Vorwerk legal entities.
  3. Promotes compliance with information security policies and, if necessary, develops local policies for compliance with local regulations in close coordination with the IS organization.
  4. Identifies and assesses local risks, creates a gap analysis to implement information security policies and a security plan.
  5. Ensures that local IS incident management is integrated into the global process.
  6. Manages approvals and exceptions and processes escalations.
  7. Initiates and monitors the implementation of information security measures and projects based on risk assessments and global initiatives.
  8. Supports business and DPO in the third-party management including due diligence and performance monitoring.
  9. Reviews the “Technical and organizational measures” in the Data Processing Agreements.
  10. Conducts together with business and DPO the data protection impact assessments with relation to security risks assessment and definition of mitigating measures.
  11. Advises the IT and business areas on information security issues and supports (IT) audits.
  12. Conducts local awareness and training measures as well as stakeholder management.
  13. Is involved in the global ISO community.
Your Profile:
  1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering or comparable training.
  2. More than 3 years of practical experience in the field of information security.
  3. Certifications e.g. ISO auditor or comparable.
  4. Fluent in written and spoken English (German is a plus but not required).
  5. Experience with information security and data protection.
  6. Strong communication skills and solution-oriented personality with strong teamwork skills.
  7. Willingness to travel.
