Contract Senior Payroll Administrator

Length of the contract: 12 months

The incumbent will report to the Associate Director, Payroll EMEA, and collaborate with other European HR colleagues, various 3rd party payroll providers, and accounting. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of employee payroll processing for designated countries in EMEA. This position will be in charge of inputting, organizing, updating, and changing information in our payroll systems in addition to preparing legal requirements for taxes, audits, and other payroll-related reporting.

Essential Functions of the job
  1. Timely input of all required data to ensure accurate, complete and timely payroll processing.
  2. Update and organize systems to manage payroll information.
  3. Maintain payroll records and files.
  4. Set-up new employee information and accounts.
  5. Assist with onboarding of new employees on payroll information.
  6. First line contact to answer all payroll related questions.
  7. Keep accounts accurate during employee changes and rollovers.
  8. Keep detailed records for taxes and audits (and assist if an audit arises), and assist in creation of monthly reports.
  9. Strict adherence to internal company policies.
Computer Skills:
  • TMF Horizon, Abacus, Excel, Power BI, Concur, Workday.
Other Qualifications:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a multinational payroll environment.
  • Workday knowledge is a strong advantage, willingness to learn; desire to work in a fast-paced, changing (currently unstructured) environment, excellent communication skills combined with cultural sensitivity, excellent spoken/written English and any other language an asset.
Education Required:
  • Accounting/Business/Finance Bachelor’s Degree.
