With approximately 3000 employees and various locations and factories, we are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner and Country HR Manager for Switzerland to strengthen our Swiss HR organization. The role holder will be part of the Country Leadership team and will directly report to the Country Managing Director DACH. Your responsibilities

  1. Partner with the Country Managing Director and other senior leaders to facilitate an efficient overall HR service delivery as well as compliant people practices and policies in Switzerland.
  2. Safeguard that the latest legislation requirements are covered in Hitachi Energy regulations within the country and in the respective branches.
  3. Facilitate the understanding of the HR Operating Model across HR and other functions.
  4. Drive collaboration within the HR Function, creating a strong team spirit and engagement.
  5. Partner with COEs and HRBPs contributing with a country view, promoting fair decision-making and considering overall impact in the country.
  6. Ensure effective internal communication to all stakeholder-groups. Seek and realize opportunities for simplification and harmonization within the country.
  7. Drive our diversity 360 strategy and ensure a diverse and inclusive working environment.
  8. Act as a Country Labor Relations Manager and ensure strong labor and key stakeholder relations internally and externally. Negotiate and agree on all statutory types of compensation and benefits related changes.
  9. Represent Hitachi Energy in the local Swiss environment and actively manage partnerships.

Your background

  1. Several years as Senior HR Business Partner supporting teams in Switzerland, Country HR Switzerland, or equivalent experience ideally within a fast-paced global organization.
  2. Excellent business understanding, negotiation and influencing skills as well as change management.
  3. Deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in Switzerland.
  4. Knowledge and expertise related to Swiss HR policies, processes and practices of Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management and Global Mobility.
  5. Strong business/labor market understanding.
  6. Assertiveness, interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders with employees at all levels of the organization.
  7. Leadership without authority.
  8. Credibility and recognition of ethical behaviors.
  9. Fluency in German and English; French and/or Italian would be beneficial.
