**Country Trade Compliance Manager (CTCM) (80-100%)**:

The Country Trade Compliance Manager (CTCM) supports Trade Compliance Matters for ABB on a country level and provide business / solution-oriented support to the Local Divisions (LD) under the lead of Country Trade Compliance Officer (CTCO) in order to comply with national and international customs and trade regulations. The CTCM proactively assists the LD’s on operational customs and export control matters in its business processes.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Drive operational support and best-in-class standards for the Local Divisions (LD’s) in terms of customs, tariffing, origin calculation, logistics processes (import/export) and export control classification (“Operational Trade Compliance”),
- advise logistics and order handling on customs procedures (Zollverfahren), preferential calculations, HS codes (Zolltarifierung), VAT and dual-use classifications.
- Drive and implement internal directives, standard of procedures considering ABB’s regulations
- Train LD stakeholders in customs, international trade (Incoterms), rules of origin and customs tariffing.
- collaborate with and communicate to our customs tariff specialists, logistics team, internal customs declarants, external forwarders and TCO’s
- contribute to customs audits and internal risk reviews
- Drive improvements in SAP GTS, give support and hold trainings
- carry out internal checks (internal control system) on trade compliance aspects (incoterms, HS codes, preferential origin correctness, import and export efficiency)
- drive ABB’s efficiency and cost reduction initiatives in trade
- deputizes and support the CTCO on its absence in export control matters.

**Your background**:

- Apprenticeship (KV) with further training as foreign trade specialist or customs specialist
- several years experience in export and import field
- Very good knowledge in customs classification, origin (preferential, non-preferential), customs procedures, Swiss customs regulations (Zollgesetz, Verordnungen), export controls, SAP/SAP GTS
- Very good knowledge of free trade agreements with EU and EFTA Experience in managing projects
- proactive, independent, communicator, team player, flexible, motivated
- Fluent in German as well as in English
