The IS Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) Lead ensures and implement the CSI process within the IS organization, aiming to simplify, optimize, and automate services, processes, and products, improving CSI practice maturity & adoption and maximizing business benefits against the CSI portfolios.

Your responsibilities

:

  • Scope: Accountable for the implementation, improvement and adoption of the Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) process within ABB IS.
  • Responsible to keep policies, guidelines, standards, and techniques updated for continuous service improvement process.
  • Responsible for compliance with ABB and IS guidelines, and process and service.
  • Monitors, recommends improvement, and controls the execution of the IT CSI process.
  • Defines, establishes, and reviews continuously the Framework of Continuous Service Improvement.
  • Overall monitoring of the correct and improved implementation of the CSI Process and ensures all CSIs are completed ontime, onbudget and onquality.
  • Acts as an internal escalation point for process and operational issues.
  • Enables the adoption of continuous improvement across the IS community.
  • Accountable to monitor and facilitate execution & achievements of CSI portfolio outcomes.
  • Analyses and proposes process improvements; if necessary, develops graphical representations of processes to facilitate understanding for improvements.
  • Coordinates the execution of IS process improvements for IS services offered within ABB.
  • Drives opportunities on technical and functional service enhancements, leveraging emerging technology and best practices, to continuously maximize business benefits and presents such proposal to Service Owners for acceptance.
  • Analyses and correlates data from multiple sources and collaborate with Service Owners/teams to proactively identify improvements.
  • Responsible for exploring opportunities & actively collaborating with Service Owners in maximizing CSI Portfolio outcomes.
  • Builds and maintains relationship & alignment with Service Owners.
  • Proactively collaborates with key Business and IS Stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment.
  • Proactively work with the Service Owners to remove interdependencies between CSI portfolios.
  • Ensures the adoption of CSI best practices (6Sigma, Lean, ITIL).
  • Acts as Lean Integrator & CSI Change Agent to enable Service Owners & business processes.
  • Proactively supports Race2Care or similar Reward & Recognition process initiatives.
  • Success factors: Building relationship & alignment with Service and Process Owners.
  • Uses global Indicators and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify & explore improvement opportunities.
  • Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Continuous Improvement practices.
  • Clear and concise understanding on the Service related processes and data layer.
  • Alignment with clear and concise understanding on CSI portfolio objectives
  • Strategy: Executes and maintains the CSI vision, and mission in line with the CSI portfolio objectives.
  • Ensures that all stakeholders adhere to the strategic management approach and timetables. Collates information and creates reports and insights to support strategy management processes. Contributes to the improvement of policies, guidelines and standards of the CSI processes.
  • Contributes to the overall Continuous Service Improvement Strategy and its execution to fulfill its Mission.
  • Stakeholder Management: Fosters a strong partnership with key Business and IS Stakeholders to ensure a continuous improvement across allinclusive dimensions
  • Standards, Governance and IS Compliance: Is responsible for the development and maintenance of appropriate IS capabilities, ensuring alignment to agreed goals and compliance with ABB policies, procedures, standards and controls.
  • Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACI specification.
  • Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both internal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job.
  • People Leadership: Actively work with a virtual team of highly effective IS professionals, demonstrating analytical capability, proactive attitude, and a continuous improvement mindset in relation to all services related to the Continuous Service Improvement Effectiveness.
