We have a global network of over 385,000 health care professionals.Each year we offer over 830 educational events around the world, supported by nearly 9,000 faculty members and attended by over 58,000 participants.
We have around 18,500 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary, and reconstructive surgery.- Employment Type: Permanent

Specific Requirement I:Educational requirements - BSc or MSc in relevant field (Business, Publishing, or equivalent)
- Job experience
- Proven experience in journal management in the field of medical education, medical associations or equivalent (23 years)
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders on all levels
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to prioritize work plans and handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and sudden changes
- Reliable, proactive and problemsolving attitude with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about continuous improvement, entrepreneurial and creative mindset to further develop GN own journals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy skills, process and detailed oriented
- Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of additional languages would be an asset
Specific Requirement II:
Main job tasks and KPIs I:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of the journals to an agreed standard of quality, cost, budgeted extent and to agreed scheduled
- Chooses articles for issues, Updating Special Collections on a monthly basis
- Liaise with editors, suppliers and publisher
- Liaise with AO and Publisher marketing team on marketing initiatives
- Coordinate meetings and conference calls, including agenda and supporting materials, minutes
- Maintain data on websites and databases for all journalrelated activities.
- Support the chiefeditor of GN own journals (GSJ, CMTR) in the editorial work and in line with defined publishing frequency
- Provide regular, accurate reports on an agreed upon schedule, demonstrating production performance against agreed goals, providing contextual information and analysis, and where appropriate making recommendations to improve processes and performance.
