About this role:

As the Operations Manager Lead, you will oversee our Scoober Logistics operations team in Switzerland, playing a key role in connecting restaurants to customers through our dedicated drivers. At Scoober, we're all about building seamless connections. You'll provide guidance and support to elevate Scoober’s service to new heights.
Whether you’re helping your team through a transformation process, defining and implementing a new strategy, finding innovative solutions to optimise our processes and procedures or teaming up with various departments to look for improvement potential, you can help us to grow and improve. We want you to challenge the status quo and not be afraid to try new things or ideas.

  • Strategy & Structure: Set the scene with a clear strategy, structure, and routine to ensure smooth operations.

  • Planning & Organisation: Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring efficient execution.

  • Communication & Motivation: Foster open communication within the team, explaining the "why" behind decisions, while providing motivation and support.

  • Delegation & Development: Assign tasks and responsibilities, offering opportunities for growth and skill development.

  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Tackle issues, resolve conflicts, and make informed data driven decisions by balancing local and central operations input.

  • Performance & Collaboration: Monitor team performance, promote teamwork, and encourage collaboration across all levels.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead by example, driving innovation, learning, and ongoing improvements both locally and globally.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills

  • Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple team members and tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Team Development: Experience in coaching, guiding, and developing team members, fostering growth and success.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage a small team within logistics operations or similar sector, delivering results in a dynamic and competitive environment.

  • Prioritisation & Adaptability: Confident in prioritising tasks and delivering on-time, even in a fast-paced, transformative industry.

  • Mobility & Language Skills: Willing to travel regularly within Switzerland. Fluent in English & German with French as a plus (but not essential)
