To support our growth, we're looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join our central engineering team in Riga, Latvia.

In this role, as a Lead QA Engineer. You will be part of a small and highly efficient team that support enabling cloud technologies for small and big businesses in high scale. Expect to interact with business units across the globe, world leading cloud platforms and cloud solution vendors.

Job description:

Own, have an overview and improve QA Ways of Working across all Platform teams,

Work closely together with one of Development Teams and Product Owner to provide support in quality assurance,

Participate in full Software Development Lifecycle activities together with the team,

Understand and foresee quality state of Platform Product and Deliverables,

Ensure regular QA reporting is organized and done in each of Platform Development Team,

Setup QA practices area improving in each of the team and cross-team collaboration,

Drive QA Ways of Working to improve Testing Excellence and Test Management through Cross-Team Community/Forum,

Overview of Large initiative Development and Testing in cross-team,

Your profile

Open minded, QA Engineer with leadership and organizational skills in minimum 5 years of experience.

Hands-on experience in full application parts of the product testing (Frontend, Backend, API …);

Hands-on experience of Test Automation and Test Management Tools;

Knowledge of different QA methodologies and development processes;

Ability to participate in IT audits to explain the QA process;

Leadership experience in QA strategy implementation;

Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, applying argumentation and negotiation skills if necessary;

High proficiency in verbal and written English communication skills.

Considered as Advantage

Bachelor's or master's degree or relevant education considered as an advantage,

Interest in Testing industry evolution and CI / CD Practices,

Experience in scripting – JS, Python, or any other

ISTQB Foundations Certification

Basic Knowledge of test automation frameworks
