Your Role as an Account Executive
The Swiss market is unique in its small size but significant scale. A few major market players can truly shape the approach and our ability to serve the market. There are some small but well-embedded competitors in the market but our connection to Schindler provides us leverage and visibility in this market like nowhere else in the world.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Schindler for lead generation as well as sales support on critical scale opportunities. The right candidate will be able to educate and create buy-in from Schindler colleagues about our business and potential collaboration together
- This role will report to the Northern European Sales Lead and will act as part of the DACH team along with German Market Account executives and DACH sales development representatives. The team will work closely together to cover the region but will also frequently liaise with colleagues in other European markets, particularly on scale, multinational opportunities where a broader team and influence will be required.
- Engage with ESG leaders, C-level decision-makers and other key stakeholders at scale real asset holder companies (eg. Pension funds, insurance, banks etc) to understand their business needs, present our solutions, and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Swiss customers, managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
- Actively building connections and keeping prospects informed and engaged about our product and new developments in ESG as a whole.
- Represent the company with external stakeholders, attending industry events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen brand presence and establish new partnership opportunities from both a services and solutions (technology) standpoint.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new partnership prospects and enhance existing relationships.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from HQ Berlin including marketing, product development, and key accounts to align strategies, share market insights, and drive overall company success.
- Maintain the CRM system with all active leads and opportunities to ensure accurate reporting and clear visibility of works in progress. Proactively analyze and reports on market performance, sales activities, and customer feedback to senior management (Europe Director, CCO).
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the CH market, and collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategies accordingly.
- In collaboration with the support from Sales Development, create and maintain a robust sales pipeline, actively prospecting and qualifying leads to drive new business opportunities.
- As aligned with the broader European sales and sales development teams, scout, and hunt for potential customers through various channels, including cold acquisition (mainly through emails) networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
- Confident self-starter who can take on the challenge of leading the market entry in Switzerland.
- Strong ability to influence others both in and outside of the business.
- Solid sales experience and principals come naturally and require little coaching to be applied in the SaaS PropTech space.
- Valuable experience working as a member of a Sales Team
- Quick to learn and understand customers’ needs as well as the broader product and competitive landscape.
- Fluent in Swiss-German, English (Other european languages suchs as French or Italian is a considerable Plus)
- Strong communication skills with a focus on detail and stakeholder involvement
