Your Role as an Account Executive
The Swiss market presents a unique landscape characterized by its compact size yet significant potential. A handful of key players can significantly influence our market approach and our capacity to serve effectively. Although there are established competitors, our affiliation with Schindler offers us unparalleled leverage and visibility.
- Develop and nurture robust relationships with Schindler to facilitate lead generation and provide sales support for critical opportunities. The ideal candidate will educate and garner support from Schindler colleagues regarding our offerings and potential collaborations.
- This position will report to the Northern European Sales Lead and will collaborate with the DACH team, including German Market Account Executives and DACH sales development representatives, to cover the region while engaging with colleagues across other European markets for multinational opportunities.
- Engage with ESG leaders, C-level executives, and other key stakeholders within large asset-holding firms (e.g., pension funds, insurance companies, banks) to comprehend their business requirements, present our solutions, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
- Act as the primary liaison for Swiss clients, overseeing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
- Proactively build connections and keep prospects informed about our products and developments in the ESG sector.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and forge new partnership opportunities.
- Continuously assess market trends, competitor actions, and customer feedback to identify new partnership opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from our headquarters to align strategies, share market insights, and drive overall success.
- Maintain the CRM system with all active leads and opportunities for accurate reporting and visibility of ongoing projects. Analyze and report on market performance, sales activities, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Identify growth opportunities within the Swiss market and work with senior management to develop and implement strategies accordingly.
- In collaboration with Sales Development, establish and maintain a strong sales pipeline, actively prospecting and qualifying leads to generate new business opportunities.
- Scout for potential customers through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
- Are confident self-starters capable of leading market entry initiatives in Switzerland.
- Possess strong influencing skills both internally and externally.
- Have solid sales experience, particularly in the SaaS PropTech domain.
- Are quick learners with the ability to understand customer needs and the competitive landscape.
- Are fluent in Swiss-German and English (additional European languages such as French or Italian are advantageous).
- Exhibit strong communication skills with a focus on detail and stakeholder engagement.
