Description

Reportingto the Head of Commercial Policy and Marketing your keyresponsibilities will be:

  • Providedirect commercial and marketing support to ISO members: activelyengage with ISO members, providing tangible assistance to increasetheir sales and marketing prowess.
  • LeadStrategic business analysis: conduct in-depth analysis of businessopportunities for ISO publications and value-added products bygeography, sector and/or customer segment, employing a data-drivenapproach to capture customer's needs and develop targetedcommercial strategies.
  • Translate insights andtargeted commercial strategies into actionable plans that areimplemented to effectively meet customer demands and enhancecommercial revenue for ISO publications and value-added products.This process involves nurturing existing relationships, identifyingnew commercial opportunities, and establishing partnerships todrive revenue growth globally.
  • Identifyopportunities for commercial revenue growth for the ISO CentralSecretariat, with a primary focus on leveraging ISO CentralSecretariat e-commerce, ensuring the sustained success andexpansion of the organization, in compliance with the commercialpolicy approved by the relevant ISO governing bodies. Implementbest practices to enhance the customer experience and increasesales volume.
  • Identify copyright leakages andunauthorized use of ISO publications, develop and execute proactiveenforcement strategies to preserve the commercial integrity of ISOcopyright.

Profile

  • University education or equivalent background, preferablywith a relevant master's degree in Business, Marketing, or arelated field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experiencein business development and revenue generation at the B2B level,preferably in the digital publishing sector.
  • Strong background in working with B2B distributors inrelevant business sectors, and direct engagement with companies andorganizations to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience with international standards and membershiporganizations is an asset.
  • Experience inmanaging e-commerce sales is an asset.
  • Proficiency in English. Fluency in other languages is anasset.
  • Proven ability to thrive in aninternational and multicultural work environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record ofmeeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Abilityto analyze market trends and identify new businessopportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation,presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strongleadership, communication, influencing and interpersonal skillscommensurate with relationship building with variousstakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly todifferent environments and to work under tightdeadlines.
  • Enthusiastic to work in amission-oriented, collaborative, autonomous and human-centeredenvironment.
  • Capacity to handle pressure andmaintain focus in stressful situations.
  • Ability to adjust plans and strategies in response toevolving circumstances, ensuring continued progress despiteambiguity.
