WHAT YOU’LL DO

DLG seeks a Strategic Planning and Research Associate Director with proven luxury and lifestyle expertise and a digital-first mindset. You will strengthen and promote some of our critical intelligence products while also being the pivotal link between our creative, performance marketing, and social media teams.
You will conceive and orchestrate 360 campaigns that resonate with our international clientele and lay the right data-led foundations for brand (re)positioning mandates.
While this position does not involve direct management of team members, it requires collaboration across the organization as a senior expert and advisor, working with all teams and top management.

Sophisticated Audience Analysis: 

Identifying audience segments and persona creation  Conducting market research (both quantitative and qualitative)  Analyzing consumer behavior Customer journey mapping


Brand & Communications:

Develop and implement comprehensive coms strategies that align with our clients' luxury ethos, ensuring a seamless journey from brand awareness to engagement. Create briefs and lay the right data-led foundations for brand (re)positioning mandates.  Work on new business development & pitches  Enrich account briefs with valuable insights and fuel the creative team to ensure robust, insightful, and actionable creative briefs.  Leverage data and trends knowledge to challenge strategies and optimize digital channel performance. Partner with the social media team to curate and implement innovative campaigns that engage, inspire, and convert our target audiences on the most relevant platforms. Communicate effectively with agency colleagues, including creatives and account managers, to ensure the seamless development of campaigns.

Competitive Intelligence:
As the product owner of our proprietary Luxury Innovation Tracker tool, a benchmarking tool paired with strategic workshops:

Guide the product & contribute to the roadmap Identify trends Innovation spotting and insights production Promote the luxury innovation tracker to prospects, existing clients, and potential strategic partners. 

Luxury Ads Monitoring: ads monitoring solution for luxury advertising

Work closely with our innovation team to improve the relevance and insights generated by the tool. Present the solution to prospects and clients. Analyse data and write reports and articles on the key trends in luxury advertising.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE  +8 years of experience, ideally as a proven strategic planner, strategist, or in a similar role on the agency side Expertise in luxury (watches and jewelry specifically) and private banking is a plus Strong understanding of sophisticated audiences (HNWI/UHNWI), strong plus Experience with creative campaign development Market Research Skills Strong communication and presentation skills in French & English), capable of articulating sophisticated strategies to clients and team members
