Group Finance at Verisure

The Group Finance team is pivotal to the growth of Verisure and directly contributes to the company’s expansion, making it an exceptional place to work and learn. Our finance function sits at the heart of our rapid growth, dealing with intricate financial structures, cross-border transactions, and subscription-based revenue models.

The Group Finance team at Verisure will stand at the forefront of any corporate transaction, possibly including an IPO. This scenario presents a critical and unparalleled learning opportunity, as it involves navigating through complex financial landscapes, unique corporate transactions, and strategic decision-making processes.

Our Group roles are multifaceted, involving strategic oversight, operational coordination, facilitation of synergies – they are challenging and rewarding, given their significant impact on Verisure's overall success and growth.

Responsibilities

This Group FP&A Leadership role (the final job title will reflect the candidate's experience and mutual expectations) will have the opportunity to join and manage a high performing team, who are the analytical engine of the company and responsible for providing the Group executive team and shareholders the analysis and information necessary to make major operational, financial and strategic decisions.

You will work closely with the Group CFO and the Group Finance Director to set the strategic vision and direction for the company, developing and articulating long-term financial goals and strategies in alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives. You will work across all aspects of planning and analysis, significantly influencing Verisure's future performance, valuation, and strategic direction, as well as setting the agenda of the team and its deliverables.

This Group FP&A Leadership role will be supported by a team of financial analysts and will play a leadership and mentoring role within a broader Group Finance team (c.25 FTE). Your position is dynamic, with the potential for growth and additional responsibilities within Group Finance, especially as we prepare for any upcoming transactions by fortifying our finance leadership and establishing an "analytical powerhouse" for sustained, rapid growth.

The role will play an important role supporting and driving our continued growth and success, building great relationships across our existing and new markets. In this role you have the chance to work internationally, across different geographies and different cultures. The position requires collaboration across Europe and Latin America as you work with local finance teams to ensure high quality reporting and develop and implement KPI and analytical measurement tools.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed finance professional to deliver value through finance business partnering to our key stakeholders, driving the annual budget and Long Range Planning (LRP) processes and providing detailed analysis for improved efficiency and performance.

Lead Planning & Forecasting: drive corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning. Enhance Performance Management: provide accurate, timely and action-oriented financial reporting and business metrics to Business Units and Executive management. Drive Financial Analysis: maintain a strong sense of business performance and direction, drive benchmarking, analyze trends and understand impact to forecast. Drive advanced scenario and sensitivity analysis, identify risks, opportunities, and actions to improve financial performance. Build thoughtful analyses to drive better investment decisions and optimal resource and capital allocation. Financial Policy Governance : Design and drive consistency/standardization/compliance to financial policy guidelines, lead governance process and continue shaping relevant policies to drive simplification & enable focus on the most important value creation drivers. Clarity and consistency across markets is key. Foster Business Partnering: Build strong relationships and collaborate with leaders (across Group and country finance teams) to become a trusted advisor who highlights risks, spots opportunities, builds simulations and sensitivity analyses.

The role could be based in Geneva (HQ) or London (Victoria).

Experiences and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic foresight and operational expertise, with a hands-on approach to resolving day-to-day financial challenges. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field is essential. Additionally, a professional accounting qualification (such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA) is highly preferred Relevant experience of a minimum of 10 years in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or a related field is required - with a strong preference for candidates who have thrived in an international and matrix setting. Past experience in strategic consulting is highly valuable Proficient knowledge of accounting and financial reporting systems is essential, with proven strong analytical and reporting skills, complemented by advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience in strategic financial modeling and analysis Experience with presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Thinkcell, and effective memo writing skills Demonstrated experience in leading and developing small to medium-sized teams, as well as cross functional leadership Experience of managing all aspects of a P&L statement, with ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations Excellent command of English, both oral and written. Proficiency in other European languages is considered an advantage.
