Our laboratory conducts research on how the immune system defends itself against viral infection and we are looking for an independent and motivated individual to carry out an independent line of research. The ideal candidate will have research experience that allows them to hit the ground running. He or she will also be responsible for supporting ongoing projects in the lab, maintaining lab stocks and participating in group lab meetings.Job informationExpected start date in position : March 1st 2025, or as agreed uponContract length : 1 year with the possibility of renewingActivity rate : 100%Workplace : In person at the Department of Immunobiology, Biopole, EpalingesYour responsibilitiesYour responsabilities will include :Performing molecular biology, virology and cell culture assaysAnalyzing collected data, troubleshooting and performing follow-up experimentsMaintaining cells and viral stocksMaintaining a lab notebookParticipating in lab meetings, including giving presentationsYour qualificationsTo start off our team we are looking for someone with the following profileCertificat fédéral de capcité ( CFC) in biology or equivalent experienceStrong interest in science and academic researchAbility to conduct experiments independentlyStrong personal motivationGood communication skillsExcellent English speaking and writing skillsDetail-oriented and fast learnerWhat the position offers youWe offer a nice working environment in a multicultural, diverse and dynamic academic environment.
